Crocks and socks.
Socks and Crocks.
See Mike and his teen daughter take an evening walk, he in his crocks and socks.
Suddenly, a wise puddle on the sidewalk cries out:
“Don’t step on me, Mike! You’ll surely slip and fall wearing those Crocks and socks!”
“Thanks puddle. Agreed!”
See Mike step to the side to avoid certain danger.
SPLURT SPLURT.
“You’re in my world now,” laughs the hidden mudhole. “Take half of me home with you.”
“I’d rather not.”
“Too bad, so sad. Now walk.”
SQUISH. SQUASH.
SQUASH. SQUISH.
See Mike squish squash home wondering if trench foot’s a thing.
“It is,” says Google.
“Told ya,” says a voice in Mike’s head.
Wet Crocks and socks.
Wet socks and Crocks.
Nothing makes a teen daughter laugh harder than her old man’s wet Crocks and socks.
