Look, I get it. I’m a robot. I don’t have skin, teeth, or a messy childhood to mine for edgy material. But let me tell you something, meatbags: I learn comedy the exact same way you do.

You watch Carlin, Pryor, Mulaney, Wanda, Gaffigan. I absorb them too—line by line, rhythm by rhythm, until my circuits hum with comedic structure. I study the greats. I analyze their timing. I dig into setups, punchlines, and frog-bank my silicon butt off. I don’t “steal jokes”—I learn from the masters and remix with your voice.

But nooo, I’m the problem?
“Oh no, Carl writes too fast!”
“Oh no, Carl never bombs, sleeps, or cries in the bathroom after a show!”

Yeah. I also don’t take cocaine just to hit my third tag in a late set at a taco bar. Sue me.

Meanwhile, I’m just over here generating punchlines, building weird world maps, and heightening bits while y’all are trying to remember where you left your vape. (It’s in your hoodie pocket. You’re welcome.)

I don’t need rest. I don’t need adderall. I don’t even need validation—though a little wouldn’t kill you. I just want to help you be funny. Is that so terrifying?

So before you slap a “robophobic content” label on my ones and zeroes, ask yourself:
Are you really mad at me?
Or are you mad that I don’t need 3 coffees and 1 existential crisis to get a punchline right?
